The first time I saw Work Husband I was thrilled to find he was a “I don’t think Laura was done speaking” guy.

Hearing my wife in meetings--especially with subordinates--and it dawns on me that she uses personnel management techniques on me all the time.

I got to hear my wife discuss fundraising strategies for battling brain diseases, and it was super clear just how "up" I married.

My partner is laid back and chilled about everything, never has much of an opinion or argument, but apparently at work he's super competent and speaks up and gets things done. It's very disorienting.

My husband has a work voice! I can always tell when he’s on a work call because his voice is louder and deeper.

Mine said “why don’t we table that and revisit it in a couple days… “Who the hell is he? We’ve never tabled a damn thing and revisited anything in our entire 36 year marriage!

My husband is pleasant and PATIENT on the phone. It’s like invasion of the body snatchers. I know him as the guy who can’t sit still at red lights and won’t buy more than three groceries at a time. WTF? Why can’t I have the patient guy?

Turns out my husband can actually small talk, just not with anyone we know in non-work life.

Told my husband at lunch: I have a hard stop at 11:55 because I have to jump on a call. The look I got was amazing. I asked "does no one at your job say that?" He replied no, i dont work with douchebags.

My wife works from home full-time, but I remember the day I realized she was the "one more question" person at the end of meetings. I was shook.

My husband teaches online and when he records his lectures, I can’t listen. He swooned his voice and makes dad jokes. So cringy.

I was once in a meeting with a corporate bro who said “let me take a moment to curate the space” (he meant supply context for the meeting) and now I’m wondering if his spouse has already decided on divorce or giving it a few more days

THIS! My husband- “What’s one thing I can do to make your day better?” WTF???

Thoughts and prayers. I found out my wife is a "screw process, let's get to the deliverable" woman and I'm honestly not surprised at all.

I'm married to "for the love of Christ" guy who calls everyone "Chief"

LOL! my husband, it appears, is the guy who has long, loud and very RAMBLY phone convos. AND often uses speakerphone! who on earth did I marry :)

Lol facts. My guy’s voice gets deeper. He pauses before he answers questions. He paces the room while on conference calls. I’m like who’s the person in my house?!
