30 Fresh Summer Buys From H&M, & Other Stories and Arket

We made it. June is here! And with it comes warmer weather and sunnier days. Hello heatwave! Now, fresh new-season drops are arriving from both the high street and designers, which means a whole host of new inspo and ideas for how we want to dress for the season ahead. There are three high-street brands in particular, though, that we on the Who What Wear UK team always turn to first when it comes to refreshing buys: Arket, & Other Stories and H&M. And needless to say, they have seriously impressed us this week.

Key buys inevitably sell out further into the season, so now is the best time to snap them up, and there’s plenty here for you to choose from. We’re turning to expensive-looking classic separates, mostly—from bretons to linen trousers—but there’s a few statement pieces and hero dresses added in for good measure.

Arket’s linen shirts are some of the best on the high street.

A wide-leg linen trouser will work hard in your wardrobe. Wear with a bandeau top as above, a tee,  a shirt or a blazer.

This is so expensive-looking, don’t you think?

Yes to this whole look!

Just beautiful. I’d dress this down with Birkenstocks and up with heeled sandals.

I think longline shorts always look so polished.

One of the hardest working pieces in my (and your) summer wardrobe.

How cute is this straw bucket bag? It’s giving me major French woman vibes.

The perfect throw-on mini.

White jeans look good all year round, but they really come into their own in summer.

We always come back to & Other Stories midi dresses. This new blue and white pattern is so pretty.

The perfect summer top to wear with jeans.

I love these simple yet stylish slides.

A jumpsuit is such an easy, ready-made outfit. Add heels for date night or flats for the day.

Throw all your essentials and more in this roomy tote.

After the Parisian look? You can’t go wrong with stripes.

Crochet is having a moment. Wear this over swimwear on holiday for a stylish yet beach-appropriate look.

A waistcoat paired with linen shorts is a ‘fit I can get behind.

Wear to work, at the weekend, on date night and to a wedding.

I’m completely obsessed with this blouse.

There’s something very off-duty-model about this ribbed midi dress.

How chic is this halter neck bodysuit?

Ok, wow!

These come in sizes 4-22.

This pretty top looks so good with wide-leg jeans as above.

I always head to H&M for easy, hard-working dresses. This one got my attention thanks to the puff sleeves and broderie detail.

Chic and comfortable sandals are an investment worth making.

I’m in my bandeau dress era and I’m not mad about it.

Perfect for the upcoming heatwave.

The perfect wedding guest dress.
