32 New Pieces From & Other Stories, Zara & COS That You'll Mistake for Designer

It would impossible to count the number of times that I’ve been stopped in the street and asked where an item I was wearing was from and the answer has been high street. What usually follows is surprise, but after years of mixing affordable pieces with some savvy designer investment buys, I think I’ve mastered the art of high/low dressing in a way that makes sense. In all honesty, the quality of the high street’s offerings has improved so significantly over the years that I’m always confident in it’s ability to deliver accessible takes on runway pieces (helping me to elevate my wardrobe in the process), but none more so than & Other Stories, Zara and COS.

Yatri wears a COS tank and Zara jeans.

It’s been a particularly good year for Zara and COS so far, with jackets like internet-famous bombers and trench coats taking centre stage. And, if you are looking for pieces perfect for the transition into spring, look no further than & Other Stories. Scouring their new-in reads like a who’s who of predictable bestsellers, from the chic separates to the leather accessories that look far more expensive than their high street price tag

So, to help you find all of the pieces that look like they’ve walked straight off the runway, I’ve taken the labour out of hunting through the new-in sections, and put together a handy little edit for your perusal. Should you be on your lunch break, scrolling of an evening or looking for something exciting to liven up your commute, these are 32 pieces from & Other Stories, Zara and COS that I think you’re love, and believe me when I say–no one will know that they’re high street.

This whole outfit is perfection. You could also swap in heels for a dinner date.

Loafers that go with basically everything in your wardrobe are a wise investment.

The perfect jeans-and-a-nice-top top.

A trench coat will work hard in your wardrobe all year round, but particularly in spring.

How beautiful is this?

Now’s the time to invest in your basics.

Mary-Janes are going nowhere. I’d wear these with straight-leg jeans and a blazer to the office and at the weekend.

You can always rely on & Other Stories for pretty transitional dresses. Layer a cream blazer or bomber over this now for extra warmth.

I’m so surprised this is under £100!

The fit on these jeans looks so premium. I love the simple styling, too.

The WWW team will never not love a striped knit.

Not yet invested in the denim midi skirt trend? Consider this your sign.

No one does elevated basics like COS.

The ideal layer for this tricky weather.

Our Slack channels have been dominated by this two-piece this week.

Wear with boots, heels, trainers or flats.

Is this the most famous bag on the internet right now? We think so.

COS always leads the way when it comes to sleek separates. These wide-leg trousers look so chic with a white shirt and trench.

Wear under cardigans or blazers.

I don’t know about you, but I love a little kick flair.

The chicest spring jacket out there.

Spring calls for a pop of pink and the scarf detail on this fuchsia blouse is just stunning.

Zara isn’t slowing down when it comes to sensational bombers anytime soon.

A spring staple that you’ll reach for every weekend.

This whole look is so stylish, but the blazer is the standout for me.

These velvet flats are back in stock, and in both colours.

I love a jumpsuit for spring. Dress it up with heels and statement accessories or down with trainers and a sweatshirt around your shoulders.

Note the cuff detail…

Wear over dresses, tees, sweatshirts and more.

The dark wash and faded effect of this skirt really elevates it.

Belts are a simple way to add polish and interest to a look.

Jeans and a white tee = the ultimate easy spring fit.
