With its pared-back nonchalance and minimalist silhouettes, The Frankie Shop isn’t one of those brands that fight for attention on the feeds of Instagram’s best dressed. In typical French fashion, it’s a brand that somehow managed to garner cult-like status without having to really try that hard, which is no mean feat in a digitalised fashion landscape that fights tooth and nail for those much-coveted clicks. Yet once you’ve clocked the brand, you start to see it everywhere you go: an oversized blazer thrown over a pair of straight-leg jeans, a colour-pop tracksuit paired with Velcro sandals or a clever cutout knit rubbing shoulders with a chunky chain necklace.
