6 Influencers Shared Their Holiday Wish Lists With Me–Here Are Their Top Picks

I’ve spent a lot of time this week planning my next holiday. Mind you, it isn’t actually on the cards quite yet, but as soon as the sun comes out I can’t help but get itchy feet. In a bid to cure my wanderlust, I’ve been absentmindedly scrolling though far flung destinations and imagining myself on the white sands of the Caribbean, eating my way around Mexico, soaking up the culture in Greece, and trekking through the Atlas mountains. The only other thing to left decide on, is what to pack in my suitcase.

Summer is one of those ironic seasons in that the less we wear, the better the outfit. I spent most of summer 2022 living in maxi dresses and sandals, and this year I’ve stocked up on linen shirts and trousers, but if you’re getting a little bit bored of wearing the same practical outfits on repeat, where do you turn for inspiration? Thankfully, I have the answer.

I asked six chic content creators for all of the items on their summer wishlists in order to help inspire my own, and I wasn’t disappointed. Thanks to the stylish musings of Anna Cascarina, Liv Madeline, Cortne Bonilla, Chiara Perera, Anna Newton and Hannah Gale, I can sit back happy in the knowledge that not only do I have my fantasy holiday sorted, but also my dream wardrobe too. Wondering what made the cut? Keep scrolling to see their dream holiday wishlists, and I’ll meet you at the airport

“This top is just effortless, and even though it’s technically an evening top, it would look equally as good dressed down with jeans and simple barely-there flats.”

“Another strapless number, this dress is so elegant. The pleating at the back elevates an otherwise simple dress into something really special. I’d wear with flats and a big oversized necklace for day or delicate mules and a clutch for evening.”

“This is definitely an investment, but I have it in black and it’s the most amazing blazer. The cream is high on my wishlist as I know it’ll be worn so much. It’s definitely a forever piece, and I talk about capsule wardrobes a lot, so this is colour and fabrication are the only thing that’s missing from my wardrobe.”

“A basket bag is a perfect summer accessory, it can be worn with anything and this one is the perfect size to fit in almost everything you could possibly need.”

“The Row flip flops have been on my wishlist for as long as I can remember. You can never go wrong with a simple, understated flatform like these.”

“I’ve rented this dress before and I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s the perfect summer dress as not only is it very flattering on, but its also super lightweight and elegant.”

“I used to think of myself as a minimalist, but then I quickly realised that I prefer minimal colours that make an impact with silhouettes or details, like this billowy little ruffled tank. I love how easily pairable this would be with white linen trousers, baggy denim, or knitted skirts. And if there’s one thing I love, that’s re-wearing my wardrobe in different ways.”

“Effortless, breezy, and transferable—I love a skirt that works for various situations. I’m getting married in September, so I’ve been hunting for everyday pieces that I can dress up during my honeymoon, which is quickly becoming a fashion playground for me.”

“Don’t sleep on Tod’s! This raffia tote bag is revamped every season, and I can’t get enough of the slouchy silhouette. This is a sleeker iteration of a classic beach tote; one that can be worn on and off vacation during the summer months, and into early fall.”

“These metallic sandals are the perfect addition to any summer wardrobe. In the warmer months I want to be comfortable (and preferably in sandals), but these gold ones make the perfect accessory for those summer evening dinners and drinks.”

“I already have this Matteau shirt in another colour, but I am obsessed with the print, and the quality of these shirts is amazing! If you are not a pattern girly, this just adds a little bit of fun to your simple summer wardrobe.”

“I love a matching set–it makes getting ready so much easier. This scrumptious brown co-ord from Lou Lou Studios is stunning! I love the open back (it adds that little bit of ventilation for that summer breeze we all need).”

“This DOEN dress is on the top of my list! This comfy little number is such an easy piece to throw on and wear out to any summer activity from picnics to the pub. It even makes a great coverup over your swimwear on the beach.”

“Have I just added this to my basket?! Yes, yes I have. As a lover of denim shorts in the summer I feel like this will be the perfect pairing on days that are so hot even the thought of a tank touching your body is too much.”

“This dress is ticking all the boxes for me. I’m not typically a dress lover, but for a holiday dinner out I can’t think of anything better to wear than this with a raffia tote and some strappy sandals.”

“I have the classic Hunza G swimsuit in the black, but I feel like this natural tone will be a great addition to my holiday wardrobe too. I plan on wearing it as a bodysuit with satin skirts in the evening, as well as it being beach-appropriate. The best bit? It’s so damn comfy.”

“I’d wear this sunny waistcoat undone over a white t-shirt and with anything from denim shorts to a slinky leopard midi skirt for a sweet summertime print clash.”

“A neutral straw or raffia bag is my go-to for summer days, and I love the rainbow design of this one. Plus, the size makes it perfect for every occasion from park trips to spontaneous drinks on the beach.”

“I love an oversized tee to throw on with a midi skirt or wide leg trousers and this one looks so much pricier than £8!”
