The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to a seven-year, $131-million contract extension with right-hander Jose Berrios, locking in an important piece of the rotation for the remainder of the decade.
Berrios, who was acquired at the trade deadline from the Minnesota Twins, was due to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2022 season.
