Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet has committed to participate in the three-point contest during NBA All-Star Weekend, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
VanVleet, who was voted onto the all-star team for the first time, has shot 39.3 per cent from beyond the arc this season on 9.9 attempts per game.
The 27-year-old is averaging 21.6 points, 7.2 assists and 4.7 rebounds on 41.6 per cent shooting from the field this season.
