After nine days and many long hours, Major League Baseball and the players’ union failed to reach an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement before the league’s Tuesday deadline. As a result, the start of the regular season is threatened to be delayed.
Commissioner Rob Manfred will speak with reporters live from Florida to discuss how things got to this point and what steps will be taken next to ensure some baseball can be played this season.
