Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes captured the NBA’s Rookie of the Year Award on Saturday.
Barnes is the third player in Raptors history to earn the honour following Damon Stoudamire (1995-96) and Vince Carter (1998-99).
The 20-year-old averaged 15.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists during the 2021-22 season after he was drafted fourth overall by the Raptors out of Florida State in July.
More to come.
