Oilers keep season alive after beating Kings to force Game 7

The Edmonton Oilers have forced a winner-take-all Game 7 after beating the Los Angeles Kings 4-2 in Thursday’s Game 6.

Edmonton entered the game needing to win after dropping consecutive games in the series. Tyson Barrie scored the game-winner late in the third period.

Game 7 will be Saturday night in Edmonton and will be broadcast on Sportsnet, CBC and SN NOW.

Edmonton got off to a quick start to the game with Connor McDavid scoring early and Evander Kane extending the lead in the second period. But goals from Sean Durzi and — less than a minute into the third — Carl Grundstrom tied things up and forced a dramatic finish to the game.
