Every Single One of Our Editors Just Bought This Chic £25 H&M Dress

Comfy, flattering and seriously expensive-looking. It’s no surprise H&M’s latest winning dress flew out of stock within days of landing on site. The cream and black colours have already gone (don’t worry I’m watching like a hawk for restocks), BUT the good news is that H&M just dropped a gorgeous new charcoal grey colour which still has all sizes available (for now).

The dress in question? It’s H&M’s £25 Tailored Jersey Dress—simple yet incredibly elegant. It’s a sleeveless midi with a crew neck and subtle ruching on the body that flatters in all the right places–you can even wear a bra with it. The best part, though, is the super soft jersey material which is really nice and thick without being heavy, and double lined on the bust too. It drapes beautifully, and looks and feels like it should be much more expensive than it is.

All of H&M’s latest drops have been so good, involving lots of elevated wardrobe staples with a minimalist aesthetic. But this dress in particular caught the eye of all our editors, and within minutes of it being shared on our Slack channels we all had it in our baskets. After trying it we can confirm that it’s darn near perfect, especially for wearing to the office since it looks great with a low heel and a smart handbag and even layered up with a blazer and boots for autumn. The relaxed jersey fabric also means it works at home or on the weekends with flats and a woven bag or leather crossbody.

I’m a size 10 and took a medium so it felt a little more slouchy. I loved it with these H&M strappy sandals and simple COS bag.

I’d definitely add a blazer in autumn.

It also looked cute with a basket and sandals for the current warm weather.

Maxine styles up the black version with chunky flats.

This charcoal grey version is next on my list.
