New York Knicks guard RJ Barrett is close to signing a four-year rookie extension that could be worth up to $120 million, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
The 22-year-old Barrett, from Mississauga, Ont., becomes the youngest player in Knicks history to earn a $100-million deal.
Wojnarowski says the deal will end weeks of speculation regarding the Knicks’ interest in Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz.
More to come.
