Four Astros pitchers combine to throw second no-hitter in World Series history

Christian Javier threw six no-hit innings then three relievers — Bryan Abreau, Rafael Montero and Ryan Pressly — followed him with blank innings as the Houston Astros threw the second no-hitter in World Series history.

The Astros won Game 4 5-0 to tie the World Series at two games apiece and reclaim home field advantage.

Don Larsen of the Yankees pitched the only no-hitter in World Series history, a perfect game against the Brooklyn Dodgers in Game 5 in 1956. The only other postseason no-hitter was by Phillies ace Roy Halladay in a 2010 NL Division Series opener against Cincinnati, also at Citizens Bank Park.
