Style Notes: Sure, we love a classic crew neck jumper, but a knit featuring either a half-zip or a half-buttoned detail is one of the key elevated basics of the season, and it’ll serve you well in the transitional period between winter and spring (think clever ventilation). An effortless and versatile choice that always looks polished (and cosy) with a wide leg trouser and pointed ankle boot.

Soft, cream knits always look expensive.

If you don’t already know Raey, here’s a handy guide to why they deserve a permanent spot in your wardrobe.

Style Notes: And, relax. There’s nothing better than slipping into an ultra-cosy cloud coat, or quilted coat are they are better known, as your first defence against the winter chill. These puffed up duvet coats are reigning supreme right now, and the majority of influencers, editors and stylists we know have already subscribed to the look, so there’s no shortage of outfit inspo to add your moodboard.

The Frankie Shop managed to kick start this trend with a jacket so good it has its own cult following.

Did I mention it also comes in green?

This longline liner coat is the waterproof layer that weekend walks definitely require.

It might not be a “throw on and go” coat, but this Prada sleeveless version is an outfit all in itself.

Style Notes: Yep, the Y2K has resurrected cargo pants, and these influencer favourites are also a unanimous front-runner amongst the team. This trouser style isn’t just a throwback, they also bring the instant cool factor to any winter look that deserves more than your everyday jeans.

The classic cargo trouser? It has to be khaki green, of course.

At this price, I might buy a pair in all three colourways.

A soft, jersey version perfect for weekend lounging.

Style Notes: If we were to rank the best pieces of knitwear of all time, the cable-knit sweater would be the top pick given it’s chic and comfortable nature. Dressed down with jeans, or styled up with maxi coats and heels, if the first thing you reach for when its cold outside is a cosy knit, try an oversized, slouchy cable-knit for a 2023 take on the classic winter staple.

The dropped shoulder and long cuffs give this jumper a strong silhouette.

Layer over an oversized shirt and wear with leggings and chunky ankle boots. You’re welcome.

Style Notes: If you don’t already own a pair of leather trousers, what have you been waiting for? Is it the price? No problem, there’s a pair of every budget. The fit? You can find sizes 4 to 32 on the high street, and even in petite, regular and large. The fabric? Vegan and faux leather are just as good as the real thing. Whatever your criteria, there’s pair that will make any ensemble feel elevated.

Finally, a good-looking pair of straight leg trousers that cater from size 12 up to 32.

You heard it here first–the rounded, wide-legged barrel shape is the new It style.

Style Notes: It just wouldn’t be a complete edit without at least one pair of jeans, and on the denim front, dark-wash and indigo jeans will be at the top of the pile in our closets. Dark, dressy, and very of the moment. Goodbye stonewashed skinnies.
