Whether You're a Novice or a Pro, I've Compiled the Perfect Ski Capsule for You

I’ve only been skiing a handful of times but, as I have a legitimate fear of being cold, it didn’t take me long to work out exactly what to wear skiing.

After my first slope foray, I realised I’d dressed inadequately. Of course, I came prepared with gloves and a bobble hat, waterproof and cosy trousers, but as any first-time skier will tell you, you’re likely to get wet pretty quickly. Even the most experienced skier will have a fall or two and, without the proper attire, you’ll find yourself feeling soggy and miserable before long.

Another thing I didn’t expect was just how bright it was on the slopes. Naturally, the white snow tends to reflect any light that falls upon it, so even the slightest bit of sunshine can leave you squinting to see what’s in front of you. Which is where a proper pair of ski goggles come in.

I could go on and on about what to wear skiing, but perhaps it’s best I show you. Keep scrolling to see the everything you need to hit the slopes in style—whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth.
