Brooklyn Nets all-star guard Kyrie Irving has requested a trade, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN report.
Irving has asked to be traded by the Feb. 9 trade deadline, both insiders say. Charania adds that if a trade does not happen, Irving intends to leave the Nets as a free agent this summer.
