I Tried Hailey Bieber's Exact Blusher, and My Skin Has Never Looked Better

When Hailey Bieber shares a product that she wears, we listen. We’ve paid close attention to her blusher hack, her makeup artist’s tips for achieving glowing skin and her glazed donut nails from last year are still going strong in 2023. On top of that, you can best believe we’ve been convinced to chop our hair into a box bob a la Bieber. Judging by the internet right now, we all want to emulate Hailey’s beauty routine, and I don’t blame them—she always looks naturally glowing.

So, when she shared her recent makeup glowdown from Coachella, I immediately stopped scrolling and gawped at the blusher she was wearing. Naturally, I scanned the comments for the product details and tagged brands. In the name of beauty journalism, I went down a a rabbit hole and, thankfully, her makeup artist, Leah Darcy, spilled all the beauty beans and gave us a full list of products that she used on Bieber to create her glowing look from Coachella—including the blusher. Plus, it comes in an array of flattering tones to suit all skin tones, from deep reds to peachy pink, and everything in between.

Makeup artist Leah Darcy used Milk Makeup Blusher in Smirk on Hailey Bieber for her Coachella makeup look.

To my delight, I already own a lot of the products that Darcy used on Bieber, and she happened to use a product from one of my favourite makeup brands that I’ve tried as a beauty editor. Milk Makeup’s Lip & Cheek Cream Blush + Lip Colour is adored by just about every beauty journalist and beauty lover that I know. The cream blusher stick comes in so many flattering shades, and its compact size and twist-up applicator is perfect for throwing in your bag for touch-ups during the day. What I love most about it is that is gives cheeks a flush of colour and a dewy sheen that makes you look glowing and healthy—and it looks so good on Hailey.

Darcy used the shade ‘Smirk’ on Bieber, a dusty rose that makes your skin look sun-flushed. She paired this with Milk Makeup’s Future Fluid All Over Concealer—which is another staple in my makeup bag. Its a concealer, but works so well as an all-over foundation if you want medium yet radiant coverage that still allows freckles and your skin to shine through. Darcy mixed the concealer with Rhode peptide Glazing Fluid (which sadly, isn’t available in the UK yet), for a sheerer effect, and finished off the look with Kosas Air Brow in both the tinted and clear formulas to fluff up her brows and add a touch of definition, and a slither of yellow eyeliner on the eyes—a minimal yet chic nod to festival beauty. I tried recreating Hailey’s look myself with the below products, using a foiled gold eyeshadow on lieu of a yellow eyeshadow, a slick of mascara and Kosas Lip Oil for a bit of colour and shine.

Milk Makeup’s Lip and Cheek sticks come in an array of skin-flattering shades that suit all skin tones.

Hailey Bieber also wore Milk Makeup Future fluid All Over Cream concealer, Kosas Air Brow Gel for her Coachella makeup look.
