33 New-In Pieces From COS, Mango and H&M That You'll Mistake for Designer

I think it is safe to say that the British high street rarely disappoints. Whether you’re after a dress for a special occasion, great denim at affordable prices, workwear that will work hard for you way beyond the office or just classic pieces to add to your capsule wardrobe, it really does have (almost) everything you could ever need.

As a high street aficionado, I take great pride in searching through the new-in pages of some of our best and brightest brands and picking out the pieces that are really special. Think that sensationally good bomber from Zara that went viral, Arket’s timeless blazer that both editors and influencers love, and COS’s internet-famous crossbody bag. There’s something for everyone and every style out there. The downside? It can be a real mission finding these noteworthy, designer-looking pieces, and it often takes a good amount of work (and time) to weed out the winners from those items we’d rather leave on the shelves.

So, to help you find all of the pieces that look like they’ve walked straight off the runway, I’ve put together a handy little edit of the best of the best from three of our favourite brands: COS, Mango and H&M. And just in time for payday, no less. Scroll on for the 30 pieces from COS, Mango and H&M that I think you’ll love, and that no one will know are from the high street. Your secret is safe with me…

Move over knitwear season, we’re shopping dresses now. This will stand you in good stead for sunny afternoons and will look just as good when it’s chilly with boots and a leather jacket.

A black jacket will work hard in your wardrobe all year round, but particularly right now when we’re experiencing a mix of temperatures!

These ecru jeans have gone straight to the top of my wish list this week.

A linen blazer for spring? Groundbreaking!

These cool sandals will go with everything from trousers and jeans to midi skirts and mini dresses.

The colour. The length. Need I say more?

We spotted plenty of pleated skirts at London Fashion Week. Thankfully COS has delivered a beautiful wool iteration just in time for a new-season wardrobe refresh.

A simple white tank top is the foundation of so many great outfits, and the COS iteration is a wardrobe staple.

COS has really nailed the trench this year. If you missed out on the brand’s camel style last year, this beige number is here for the taking.

Another beautiful blouse at a reasonable price. I love this punchy pink styled with matching silky PJ trousers but you could also wear it with jeans. The choice is yours.

By now, you’ll know how much the WWW team love COS’s wide-leg trousers. Imagine our delight then when we spotted this pair on the new-in page…

Pinstripe is always well worth the investment in my eyes.

It is the cream denim that does it for me.

This leather-effect trench coat got all the WWW editors talking this week. Wear it with double denim for a cool, texture-clashing look.

The chicest cargo jeans I ever did see. (Plus they come in three other equally good colours.)

Chances are you’ve seen these on Instagram already this week… I just love the blush shade.

You heard it here first, full skirts are back! I for one am thrilled.

Date night coming up? Consider this the perfect jeans-and-a-nice-top top.

Hate them or love them, low-rise jeans are back. This wide-leg pair are really wearable and will look great with a cropped jacket or blazer.

Um, hello dream holiday heels…

Green is set to be big this season. This spring-green shade on this draped-style number is living in my mind rent free. Roll on wedding season.

I’ll wear these with a slip skirt and blazer for a classic evening look with a trendy twist.

Strappy sandals are the perfect shoe for spring, don’t you think?

I’ll never say no to a sleeveless dress.

Statement earrings like these instantly elevate a simple look.

The perfect body to wear with jeans or trousers. Add gold hoops and kitten heels for your next night out.

Denim skirts might be having a moment, but this broderie anglaise is simply beautiful.

Another beautiful trench at an affordable price. Wear it over white denim and a crisp shirt for a sleek transitional look.

The silhouette of this blazer is really something special.

If I could copy and paste this whole look into my wardrobe, I would.

Wide-leg linen trousers + a matching jacket = the perfect duo in my opinion.

Moto jackets are everywhere right now. Style it with jeans and a simple white tee for the off-duty model uniform.

Ok, these are pricier than your usual H&M hit, but boy are they worth it. Consider these a lifetime investment.
