Heat pull away in fourth to beat Nuggets, tie NBA Finals at 1-1

The Miami Heat put forth a big defensive effort in the fourth quarter to beat the Denver Nuggets 111-108 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday.

Gabe Vincent led the way with 23 points while Jimmy Butler finished with 21 points and nine assists. The Heat got off to a hot start with 26 points in the first quarter with Max Strus knocking down four three-pointers.

Miami was able to lock things down defensively in the fourth quarter despite Nikola Jokic scoring 41 points for the game. Canadian Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. struggled in Game 2, combining for 23 points.

With the victory, Miami is now tied 1-1 after dropping Game 1 104-93.
