Reports: Bucks acquire Damian Lillard in three-team trade with Trail Blazers, Suns

The Portland Trail Blazers are trading Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a three-team trade, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic‘s Shams Charania reported Wednesday.

Charania reports the Blazers get Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, a 2029 first-round Bucks pick and a pick swap, while the Suns land Jusuf Nurkic, Nassir Little, Keon Johnson and Grayson Allen.

But the prize of the deal is Lillard, the lone piece going to the Bucks.

The seven-time all-star averaged a career-high 32.2 points last season.

Lillard, 33, has reportedly been looking to be dealt all summer with the Miami Heat believed to have been his preferred destination.

The Toronto Raptors were rumoured to be one of the top contenders for Lillard this week, but ultimately were not involved in the deal.

The trade sees Lillard end up as teammates with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has wondered aloud about his future with Milwaukee in recent months.
