Kate Moss Just Wore the Flat Shoe That Goes Perfectly With Skinny Trousers

This autumn Kate Moss has back on our fashion radar like it’s 1999. Having recently been spotted in a stream of chic ensembles in London and Milan, the queen of cool is has been noted again—this time for her effortless revival of a ’00s favourite: the tight-fitting, calf-hugging pedal pusher.

Whilst we’re bang in the middle of a noughties renaissance—see Kate Moss’s ballet-flats pairing, pedal pushers have been slightly slower to catch on en-mass. That was until recently. Earlier this summer, Gigi Hadid was spotted sporting a denim pair of Jacquemus pedal pushers that she styled with kitten heels and a black tank. New York Fashion Week saw the street style set favour the 3/4 pants, whilst the American runways were privy to the calf-length trouser at Tory Burch, Phillip Lim and Mirror Palais.

Kate Moss’s iteration saw the model style the her trousers in a navy shade with a long-line tonal blazer atop of a black form-fitting top. Showings us that black and navy do in fact pair well, Moss completed her look with black ballet flats, a recent favourite of hers, and a black belt. Going for a trifecta of ’00s trends, the model and entrepreneur wore her carpi pants and ballet flats with two long pendant necklaces. As we enter October in 20-degree weather, the pedal pusher is set to dominate the warmer-than-normal autumn months. For a wintry edge style the growing trend with an oversized jumper, or to tap into the trousers original ’50s roots, with a smart kitten heel and a red lip.
