Knitted co-ords have become my new favourite thing to wear of late. Pre-styled enough to feel considered and more directional than a mere dress but essentially matchy and therefore easy to throw on, this is cosiness combined with being put-together. These warming combos always look sophisticated (just make sure they aren’t too clingy), yet they couldn’t be simpler to throw on each morning.
So it’s perhaps no surprise, then, that throughout winter, knitted co-ords, in variations of trousers and skirts and cardigans and jumpers, are always spotted all over Instagram, and I’ve already seen some stellar autumn variations appearing too. There’s something to be said for wearing knitted co-ords with your chunkiest of boots—the juxtaposition of hardwearing leather and the ultra-soft wool will never fail. However, they also make for the ideal low-key going out outfit—just add patent boots or some slingbacks.
