I Just Assembled 5 Sleek Outfits Around This Anti-Trend H&M Knit

There are a few things I look out for when I’m considering purchasing a new knit. As someone who shops for capsule wardrobe staples, I’m always on the hunt for timeless design and supreme quality. This means I’m seeking out garments produced with natural fibres in classic, wearable cuts. In this new cashmere-blend jumper from H&M, I have found both of those things.

Crafted from wool and finished with cashmere, this roomy knit features ribbed hem and cuff detailing, a relaxed polo-neck design and a slouchy oversized finish. Finished in a mellow mushroom shade, the comfortable knit was practically designed with my capsule wardrobe in mind.

Excited to have landed upon a promising knit from one of my favourite high-street brands, I’ve taken it upon myself to experiment with styling, to find out just how far this wardrobe staple will get me.  Read on to discover every way I’m styling H&M’s new cashmere-blend knit this season.

Style Notes: For those days when you want to effortlessly achieve a casual yet chic look, consider a pair of jeans, a statement coat, and stylish trainers. Elevate your outfit with accessories like a chic textured bag and gold earrings.

In a deep chocolate brown, this structured leather jacket is at the top of my wish list.

This light khaki shade is perfect for winter to spring styling.

Gold hoop earrings are always a good idea.

Style Notes: Elevate your style with a premium knitted dress and sleek knee-high heeled boots, creating an elegant look that’s perfect for a dinner date or a more formal occasion, especially in the colder months.

The slouchy polo-neck will keep you looking chic and feeling cosy.

A long-line knit dress is a winter-wear staple.

Style with jeans or pair with a maxi dress.

Stow away your essentials.

This season I keep coming back to silver jewellery.

Style Notes: Play around with textures and opt for a pair of leather trousers and loafers. Layer lightly with a cropped jacket and throw in some complimenting accessories. This look is perfect for a relaxed day out.

This slouchy style is ideal for layering over a thermal or t-shirt.

I’m banking this chic cropped trench ahead of spring time.

Leather trousers are the easiest way to dress up your favourite jumper.

This comes in eight other colours.

Long-line necklaces are back on the agenda for 2024.

Style with white socks or pair with red tights.

Style Notes: For a sleek elegant vibe, keep things monochromatic. Slip into a stain midi skirt and add points of interest with the pointed shoes and patent bag both in the same colour.

The cashmere and wool blend will work hard to keep you cosy on the coldest of days.

The slip skirt trend is back with vengeance for spring ’24

The perfect size for a evening outing.

The extra long sleeves enhance the comfortable feel of this slouchy knit.

In my opinion, grey trousers are just as versatile as black.
