Alanis Morissette to perform national anthem for Game 7 of Stanley Cup Final

We think “You Oughta Know,” Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final will be kicked off by a famous musical act.

According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, Canadian singer Alanis Morissette will kick off the festivities on Monday night by singing the national anthem prior to Game 7 between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers.

Isn’t it ironic?

The 50-year-old singer from Ottawa will sing before the final hockey game of the season that starts at 8 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. MT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.

The Oilers are one win away from becoming the first Canadian hockey team to win the Cup Final since 1993 and just the second team in NHL history to erase a 3-0 deficit in the Cup Final.
