The Philadelphia Eagles have punched their ticket to the NFC championship.
Saquon Barkley ran wild in the snow for 205 yards and two touchdowns as the Eagles beat the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 Sunday.
The Eagles will host the Washington Commanders for the right to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Washington, led by rookie Jayden Daniels, shocked the world Saturday when it knocked off the top-seed Lions.
Philly’s offence was driven by the running game, totalling nearly 300 yards on the ground. Barkley ran for scores of 62 and 78 yards, giving him four 60-plus TD runs this season against the Rams.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for only 128 yards, but capped off the opening drive with a 44-yard TD run of his own.
The Eagles last played and hosted the NFC championship game in the 2022-23 season when they beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-7.
More to come.
