The newest member of the Toronto Raptors is staying with the team for the long term.
Brandon Ingram has agreed to a three-year, $120-million contract extension with the Raptors, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Tuesday. The deal also includes a player option for the 2027-28 season.
Ingram could have become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
The Raptors acquired Ingram in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans prior to the trade deadline last week.
Ingram hasn’t played for the Raptors yet as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
More to come.
