The Edmonton Oilers will have a chance to wrap up their first-round series with the Los Angeles Kings back at home.
Edmonton became the first road team to win a game in the series on Tuesday, coming away with a 3-1 win in Game 5 to take a 3-2 series lead.
After a scoreless opening 20 minutes, Andrei Kuzmenko got the Kings on the board with a power-play marker in the second period. But less than three minutes later, Evander Kane answered for the Oilers with his second of the playoffs.
Mattias Janmark ended up being the hero in third period, burying the eventual game-winner as Edmonton locked down defensively to secure the win. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins added an empty-net insurance marker in the final minute.
More to come.
