Panthers beat Maple Leafs in OT for first win of series

The Florida Panthers are on the board in Round 2.

Florida took care of business at home and beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 in overtime of Friday’s Game 3 to cut their series deficit to 2-1.

Brad Marchand scored the overtime winner as the Panthers avoided falling into the dreaded 3-0 series hole.

Game 4 is set for Sunday in Florida.
