Stars take series lead off controversial Game 3 winner vs. Jets

The Winnipeg Jets‘ road woes continue.

The Dallas Stars returned to American Airlines Center with a statement game, beating the Jets 5-2 in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead.

Stars forward Alexander Petrovic scored the game-winner with the Stars’ third goal, which was upheld after a lengthy review for a kicking motion.

Mikko Rantanen continued his torrid stretch, adding to his career-best post-season with a goal and two assists. Wyatt Johnston, Roope Hintz and Thomas Harley also scored for the Jets.

Kyle Connor and Josh Morrissey scored for the Jets, who have yet to win a road game this post-season.

More to come.
