I have a closet full of black shoes, and minimalism will always have a place in my wardrobe, but lately, I’ve found myself embracing color again. I recently wrote about vibrant clothing being the one summer trend I didn’t expect to love, and now, that same shift has extended to shoes.

Red has always been the color family I’ve gravitated toward outside of neutrals, but lately, I’ve also been loving turquoise, royal purple, and even hot pink Gimaguas ballet flats.
