It’s still July, and while we’re all grateful to be enveloped in warmth, we’re also looking forward to fall layers. In fact, fashion people are already teasing fall trends to try. For example, Dua Lipa just stepped out in a fall-friendly outfit utilizing the perfect jacket, but with a twist. Her main layer wasn’t black or brown, colors often associated with fall and winter. Instead, it was a much bolder, head-turning hue: a bright red jacket.
With the jacket, Dua Lipa wore a pair of baggy jeans tucked into her black Ann Demulemeester boots, and layered a red jacket by Polo Ralph Lauren over a white button-down. To accessorize, she matched a red bandana to her jacket, black sunglasses, and an Hermès Birkin bag. This look is the perfect example of a colorful fall outfit that isn’t cheesy. While a black or brown jacket would still look chic and put together, a pop of red is the eye-catching detail needed to elevate her look even further.
