Despite the rocky (to put it mildly) start, they did it. Randy and Kevin made their movie.
After Kevin put out the fire that was Randy’s colossal freak-out the first day of shooting, production went beautifully. Randy was making bold decisions on set, Kevin was loving it, and they were the talk of the town. Even before its premiere it was breaking all kinds of records. For instance, it was more expensive than all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies combined, AND it was the only film to ever use trained newts!
Frog and Toad are Friends quickly became the most highly anticipated movie in all of Hollywood, and one person in particular was paying close attention to Randy and Kevin’s press tour. Kyra Sedgwick.
Kyra stood her ground, left Kevin, and found her way into the arms of Hollywood’s newest hunk: Jeff. But is this what she wants? She’s not so sure. But that’s not the only trouble in paradise.
On the big test-screening of Frog and Toad are Friends, everything seems to be going great. Except for one small detail… Randy forgot that he designed the movie to be a total and complete failure.
