MLB Playoffs Blog: Buehler torches Rays as Dodgers command Game 3

It was billed as a pitchers duel.

Instead, it was Walker Buehler‘s day, and Charlie Morton‘s day off. The Los Angeles Dodgers stud struck out 10 Tampa Bay Rays batters, becoming the first pitcher in World Series history to notch double-digit Ks in six innings or less, carrying the club to a 6-2 win in Game 3 on Friday and a 2-1 lead in the World Series.

Morton, despite his excellence all post-season long, gave up five earned runs on seven hits in 4.1 innings. Randy Arozarena was the lone bright spot for the Rays as he matched the record for the most home runs in a single post-season (eight) with his two-out blast in the final inning.
