Multiple explosions have been reported in Kabul’s key locations, including the presidential palace and US embassy. Meanwhile, President Ashraf Ghani, who fled the country, broke silence, stating he quit to prevent bloodshed.
The blasts shook Afghanistan’s capital late on Sunday. The explosions reportedly occurred at several locations, including the US embassy evacuated earlier in the day. Another explosion went off near the presidential palace, already overtaken by the Taliban militants.
