World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty has won her first Wimbledon title and second career major after defeating Karolina Pliskova 6-3, 6-7 (4), 6-3 in Saturday’s Final.
Barty, who also won the 2019 French Open, is the first Australian woman to win Wimbledon since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1980.
