The Colorado Avalanche have earned a date with the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Final.
Darren Helm scored with 5.6 seconds left to give the Colorado Avalanche a 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of their Western Conference semifinal on Friday night.
The Avalanche now head to the third round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2002.
With the win, the Avs finally earned a spot in the West final after losing in the second round the past three years.
Edmonton will be in Denver for Game 1 next Tuesday.
