The Los Angeles Dodgers have opened the World Series with an emphatic victory.
Mookie Betts homered, stole two bases and scored two runs — becoming the first player in World Series history to do so — Cody Bellinger hit a two-run blast two days after dislocating his shoulder in Game 7 of NLCS and Clayton Kershaw gave up a single run and scattered two hits in six innings as the Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 8-3 in Game 1 on Tuesday.
