The Chicago Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues at the historic Wrigley Field on New Year’s Eve in the 2025 Winter Classic. The teams practised at the venue Monday, giving media and fans a sneak peek into the gear and the beautiful sights that Chicago and outdoor hockey have to offer.
It is the second Winter Classic matchup between the Blackhawks and the Blues after St. Louis won 4-1 at Busch Stadium in 2017. Monday will also mark the second time that Wrigley Field has hosted the event, the first being in 2009 when the Red Wings beat the Blackhawks 6-4.
