Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews will miss training camp because of an undisclosed illness, Sportsnet can confirm.
Toews had 18 goals and 60 points in 70 games during the 2019-20 regular season for Chicago, along with five goals and nine points in the post-season. The Blackhawks also recently lost centre Kirby Dach, who will miss the next four to five months after having surgery on his right wrist.
