The Toronto Blue Jays are finalizing a trade with the New York Mets that will see them acquire starter Steven Matz, sources tell Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi and Ben Nicholson-Smith.
In exchange for Matz, Toronto will be sending right-handed pitchers Sean Reid-Foley, Yennsy Diaz and Josh Winckowski to New York, a source tells Nicholson-Smith.
