Toronto reached double digits with a rain-shortened 6-1 victory Tuesday. Starting pitcher Chris Bassitt delivered six solid innings, giving up just one run on four hits, while Davis Schneider hit a solo homer that kick-started a five-run third inning. All-Star slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had two hits plus two RBIs.
George Springer, who also had a pair of hits, is 14-for-38 with a double, five home runs and 13 RBIs over his past 10 games.

Blue Jays vs. White Sox on Sportsnet
The red-hot Blue Jays look to match their franchise win streak when they face the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. Watch the game on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ beginning at 2:10 p.m. ET / 11:10 a.m. PT.
The Blue Jays improved to a 54-38 record and remain 3.5 games up on the New York Yankees for the lead in the American League East.
Toronto will send left-handed pitcher Eric Lauer to the mound Wednesday.
Lauer (4-1, 2.65 ERA) threw a season-high six innings during his most recent outing last Friday against the Los Angeles Angels. The 30-year-old allowed two runs on three hits with one walk and six strikeouts, but settled for a no-decision as the Blue Jays walked off the Angels 4-3 in the 10th inning.
Chicago (30-62) will counter with Adrian Houser on the hill. The righty holds a 4-2 record and 1.60 ERA in eight starts this season.
Houser limited the Blue Jays to two runs on seven hits on June 22 as the White Sox rallied for a 4-2 victory, giving Chicago a 2-1 series win.
That game may feel like a lifetime ago, though. Since that loss, the Blue Jays have won 13 of 15 games.
After Wednesday’s matinee, the Blue Jays have a day off before continuing their road trip, heading west to Sacramento, Calif. with a three-game series against the Athletics starting Friday.
