Bo Bichette is being thrust right into the action in the World Series.
After a 47-day layoff, Bichette will return to the Blue Jays lineup and play second base for Game 1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, the team announced.
Usually a shortstop, it will be the first time in Bichette’s MLB career that he will play at second base.
He also returns to the batting lineup as the cleanup hitter behind Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
More to come.
