Blue Jays’ Guerrero Jr. finishes second to Angels’ Ohtani in AL MVP voting

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. settled for second in American League MVP voting as Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani captured the award after receiving all 30 first-place votes on Wednesday.

Guerrero got 29 of 30 second-place votes.

Blue Jays second baseman Marcus Semien, the other finalist, finished third.
