Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah was ejected from Saturday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles after hitting Maikel Franco with a pitch.
Following the play, a visibly upset Franco was escorted away from Manoah, who was walking toward home plate, by an umpire. Both benches cleared soon after.
Players and coaches from the Orioles and Blue Jays gathered near home plate, exchanging words. No physical altercations appeared to take place.
