Saturday’s game between the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees officially entered a rain delay, heading into the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Yankees announced on their social media that they would provide more information as it becomes available.
Tarps came onto the field after Bo Bichette was thrown out attempting to score on a Nathan Lukes single to right field. Bichette came up limping on the play.
New York held a 2-1 lead after pushing a pair of runs across in the second inning.
