Boucher, Birch will not play in Raptors’ season opener vs. Cavaliers

The Toronto Raptors will be without Khem Birch and Chris Boucher in their season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

In addition, as expected, Otto Porter is out as he has been dealing with a hamstring injury, as is Boucher. Birch is dealing with a knee issue.

During training camp, Porter suffered the injury and was held out of all five of Toronto’s pre-season games. Birch, from Montreal, had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee over the summer.

Boucher, also from Montreal, was listed as ‘doubtful’ before the game due to a left hamstring strain.
