An entire country can finally let out a collective sigh of relief after a tough Olympic hockey showdown.
Canada survived a serious scare on Wednesday, edging out Czechia 4-3 in overtime in a tight quarterfinal matchup in the men’s Olympic hockey tournament in Milan.
It took a couple of rallies from the Canadians, but a score from Mitch Marner was the decisive marker in overtime, sending Canada through to the medal rounds.
