Canada now knows which team it will face in the Olympics men’s hockey semifinals.
The Canadians will face Finland on Friday, while the United States will play Slovakia in the other semifinal. Puck drop for the Canada-Finland game will be at 10:40 a.m. ET/ 7:40 a.m. PT.
The winners will play for gold on Sunday.
Both the Canadians and Finns needed to come from behind to win their quarterfinal games.
Canada erased 2-1 and 3-2 deficits to force overtime before Mitch Marner scored the winner against Czechia. Finland rallied from 2-0 down late in the third period to force overtime against Switzerland before Artturi Lehkonen scored the game-winner.
