Felix Auger-Aliassime has been eliminated from the National Bank Open.
The Montreal native and ninth seed was upset 7-5, 6-4 by Dušan Lajović of Serbia in second-round action on Wednesday.
Wednesday evening, fellow Canadian and No. 5 seed Denis Shapovalov will face Frances Tiafoe in front of his hometown crowd after the 22-year-old from Richmond Hill, Ont., received a bye through the first round.
