- Darvin Ham relieved of post after two seasons as Lakers coach
- Lakers were ousted by Nuggets in both postseasons under Ham
The Los Angeles Lakers fired head coach Darvin Ham on Friday after two seasons and with two years remaining on his contract, ESPN reported on Friday afternoon.
The decision came four days after the Lakers were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets from the playoffs for the second straight season, this time in a five-game Western Conference first-round series following a four-game sweep in the conference finals last year.
